SMS Consent

This policy explains the text messages TeamCalendar.com sends, how you agree to receive them, and how to stop them at any time.

Who sends the messages

Text messages are sent by TeamCalendar.com, which is operated by:

What we send

Informational news about TeamCalendar.com, for example:

• updates to schedule features and the calendars we publish;
• service notices, such as planned maintenance or a disruption to calendar feeds;
• notices about your plan or subscription, such as a renewal or a failed payment.

We do not send third-party marketing. Every message comes from TeamCalendar.com and is about TeamCalendar.com.

Sign-in links

Customers who bought a paid plan sign in to their account without a password. When you ask for a sign-in link and choose to receive it by text, we send one message containing a one-time sign-in link to the mobile number on your account. This is a transactional message, sent only when you request it. It is separate from the optional informational news opt-in below: you can receive sign-in links whether or not you ticked the SMS box, and ticking the box is not needed to sign in. You can also ask for sign-in links by email instead.

How you agree

When you buy a paid plan, the upgrade page shows an optional SMS checkbox. It starts unticked. You opt in only by ticking it yourself. Your mobile number is then collected on Stripe's secure checkout page — it is never typed into TeamCalendar.com's own pages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Leaving the box unticked changes nothing about your plan, your price or your calendar.

We record whether you ticked the box, when, and the version of the wording you saw.

Consent at checkout

By providing your phone number and clicking the checkbox, you represent that you are the sole owner of the phone number entered and agree to receive informational news via SMS text messages from TeamCalendar.com. Please read our full SMS consent policy.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies for informational news. Sign-in links are sent one per request.

How to stop, get help or start again

• STOP: Reply STOP to any message to opt out of informational messages. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and then no more informational messages from us. Sign-in links are sent only when you request one; if you do not request one, you will not receive one.
• HELP: Reply HELP for help. We will reply with our contact information: support@teamcalendar.com.
• START: Reply START to subscribe again after you have opted out.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile number stays with us

Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with, sold to or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. They are used only to send the messages described on this page, through the service providers that deliver them on our behalf.
